The Real Taste of Italy at The Olive Press

Now in its 12th year, the Olive Press continues to serve smart, casual, Italian influenced food; pizza, pasta & grills, uncomplicated but with great produce. Just a stone's throw from the high-street and looking over landscaped parkland, the Olive Press is Preston’s favourite award winning casual dining place.

A typical day will see the restaurant doors open to a mixture of families, friends meeting up for a quick bite and business suits. Thin crispy pizzas from our brick fired oven, real artisan pastas, char-grilled steaks and fish combine to create an extensive and varied menu. Our skilled chefs cook with a passion for ingredients reflecting true Heathcote’s tradition. The menu is complimented by an easy but adventurous wine list of 20 whites, 20 reds and a few sparklers and dessert wines.

Rustic but modern, friendly and passionate service with a low key ambience makes The Olive Press a master of the casual dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant is complimented with an open brick fire surrounded by distressed plaster, Venetian murals and pictures of Umbrian & Tuscany creating a warm, casual and authentic atmosphere.
